The Court is displeased upon seeing the damage the accused has caused to society in general through his irregular acts. However, one must understand that it was not the accused who killed the animals; he found them dead on the roads and used them for his own purposes.

Notice how the media had inside information from the start (was arrested on 19-Mar-14, above article dated the day after 20th Mar!) that I, Nicholas Grech, only used animals that were already dead. Yet, they deliberately spread false accusations, wrongly labeling me as the "Mosta cat killer" and fueling public outrage against me. In doing so, they actively aided the police in framing me.

The front page above was yet another example of the blatant dishonesty of Times of Malta, since ever big liars without scruples or conscience. On 27-Jun-24, the day after the sentence was given, they once again deliberately spread lies, just as they had done relentlessly for the three months since my arrest, branding me falsely as the 'cat killer' to attract amongst others more advertising revenue. In doing so, they aided corrupt police officers in their vendetta against me, actively participating in character assassination and inciting the most venomous hatred possible. Ironically, these so-called ‘fact-checkers,’ receiving fraudulent European funding for their supposed role in combating misinformation, are among the worst propagators of fake news, especially when it comes to me. Reporting them proved utterly futile.

If Times of Malta, which claims to be Malta's leading news service, continued to blatantly lie about me even after the court ruling, despite the judgment clearly stating in black and white that I was no "cat killer", just imagine the misinformation spread by the media in the three months before, following my arrest. Among them were One News and Net News, the media arms of Malta’s two major political parties, both notorious for spreading hatred against each other, and even more so against me.

A prime example of this came just two days before the verdict, when Net News published yet another venomous and macabre headline, translated from Maltese: "When he maltreated and killed animals in Mosta, Nicholas Grech was suffering from..." They falsely attributed this claim to Psychiatrists' reports submitted to the court on 24-Jun-24. However, these reports stated the exact opposite: that I had found the animals already dead on the roads. In fact, Magistrate Peralta relied on these same reports, along with police statements, to establish this fact.

For a deeper look into the orchestrated hatred against me, including a death fatwa issued by a highly influential figure, no other than a professor at a university to expect in that typical corrupt country, visit this link. It is evident that my case was a blatant example of trial by media, among other injustices, and a textbook case of an unfair and biased legal process from the outset. Such a travesty of justice is, more often than not, the norm in the sham courts of a country as historically corrupt as Malta.

When searching for "nicholas grech" on Google, I came across screenshots from August 2021 of yet more baseless media attacks against me, seven years after my sentencing, once again labeling me as a "cat killer." This came just months after the fraudulent lawyer Rachel Tua charged me €5,000, supposedly to request a Magisterial inquiry and file a Constitutional case. Instead, I received nothing but this kind of so-called "legal aid" (see links). This relentless smear campaign was yet another devastating blow for my mother, who passed away just weeks later on September 14, 2021.

Notably, MaltaToday's article "I am no cat killer" mentioned my website (the accompanying image was taken from its main page). However, they carefully avoided writing anything that might expose the powerful figures and their associates involved. It seems this shameless extension of Malta’s Labour Party propaganda machine had no trouble visiting my website, smashyouagainstthewall.com, but for the fake they are failed to mention among others the words written in bold on the main page, which Magistrate Carol Peralta had THREATENED ME WITH.

At least TVM News appeared to recognize their past mistakes and refrained from using their usual defamatory title against me. Meanwhile, Times of Malta, long known for their lies, opted not to publish anything this time, perhaps realizing their previous articles about me were already fraudulent enough.

This post further fuels the baseless hatred against me, hatred that both Times of Malta and the Police initiated, garnering over 110 reactions. The post even includes the phrase 'Rot you monster,' with even more hate in the comments. Apparently, this is all acceptable to Facebook, yet links from this site are instantly filtered out. It's infuriating to see the hypocrites at Cat-Cafe publicly attacking me, someone who has never harmed or killed animals, while staying completely silent about Police officer involved, Edmond Cuschieri, and many nurses and Psychiatry staff, who openly engage in hunting and trapping as a pastime.

Given how deliberately the media have played their role in assassinating my character and fueling baseless hatred against me to so intentionally ultimately lead to my unjust punishment and wrongful conviction, imagine how much worse it would have been if I had ever written anything untrue or abusive about any of the powerful figures I discussed on this website. They would have seized the opportunity to amplify the outrage, push for my prosecution, and relish the chance to see me hit with even harsher sentences and hefty fines for defamation.

At the end of the day, I proved beyond doubt that our local media are complete frauds on at least five fronts:

1. They deliberately lied about me from the moment of my arrest until sentencing, despite already having inside information that I had killed no animals.
2. They continued to spread these lies even after the verdict explicitly stated in black and white that I had not killed any animals.
3. They showed a total lack of scruples and conscience by never retracting the baseless falsehoods they had knowingly spread.
4. They had no interest in exposing the truth about my case, despite the fact that I created this website years ago, making a wealth of documents and evidence available to them 24/7. Acknowledging the truth would have only further exposed them as the frauds they are. Because for them, fabricating sensationalized stories matters more than reporting facts.
5. They confirmed their own deceit by knowingly incriminating an innocent person through media trial, deliberately labeling me with crimes I never committed. Rather than practicing ethical, investigative journalism, they persist in covering up their lies - because admitting the truth would mean incriminating themselves even further.
